A growing local firm is seeking a motivated Event Marketing Assistant to join their team and support in facilitating fundraising campaigns on behalf of nonprofit clients. In this role, the Event Marketing Assistant will collaborate closely with the marketing and events teams to ensure the successful planning, execution, and follow-up of various community based fundraising events.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, sales initiatives, promotional presentations and brand  management.
  • Support team members in daily event logistics, including inventory management, fundraising, and community outreach 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance.
  • Maintain event compliance and organization at all times 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience (internship or entry-level position) in event planning, marketing, or nonprofit fundraising is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with event management software is desirable.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
