A business consulting and fundraising firm is looking for a skilled individual to join a rapidly growing sales and marketing team in the Salt Lake City area. The company's mission revolves around fostering partner growth through innovative, non-profit-focused marketing and sales events. This Marketing role will require engaging with customers and facilitating the fundraising and donation process on behalf of their clients.
 

Key Responsibilities of a Marketing Assistant include:

  • Executing marketing and sales programs through the implementation of community-based outreach campaigns
  • Promoting non-profits directly to community members to create a memorable experience that fosters lasting support
  • Serving as the face of their client’s brand in the local community while exhibiting an extreme sense of professionalism 
  • Educating consumers on their clients' products and services to enroll new customers or upgrade existing ones 
  • Participating in on-going training opportunities 
 

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • At least some  experience in a customer service, hospitality, sales or retail role preferred 
  • The ability to start immediately and work full-time hours 
  • The ability to travel locally 
 

Preferred skills: 

  • Clear and confident communication skills 
  • Organization and the ability to follow through and complete tasks 
  • The ability to think on your feet and problem-solve 
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team
